What better way to enjoy a Sunday than in a cosy country pub with a great selection of British roasts starting from £13.95 – served all day and evening on Sundays using the freshest seasonal ingredients.
The building housing The Royal Saracens Head dates back to the 18th century, when it was used as a coaching inn. It is thought that a 12th-century tavern built on the site counted Richard I among its regulars. Today, it is home to a gastro pub and open bar retaining many of its original features and serving a selection of modern British dishes with a Mediterranean flair.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Royal Saracens Head menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar at The Royal Saracens Head pub showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at the bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.
The Royal Saracens Head in Beaconsfield is just a 3-minute drive from Beaconsfield station.

Excellent Sunday Roast dinner, if somewhat expensive at £14 for the Pork, marred slightly by the paucity of the amount of meat served;two small slices each. Would definitely return if we could get better seating (very little available for two people. We were seated on the main thoroughfare meaning waiters were constantly rushing past our table)

I regularly eat at The Royal Saracens Head and have never had a bad meal yet. The food is always fresh and there is a diverse menu which seems to change (albeit infrequently). It has a great atmosphere and friendly, caring staff. I would thoroughly recommend it!
