What better way to enjoy a Sunday than in a cosy country pub with a great selection of British roasts starting from £13.95 – served all day and evening on Sundays using the freshest seasonal ingredients.
The building housing The Royal Saracens Head dates back to the 18th century, when it was used as a coaching inn. It is thought that a 12th-century tavern built on the site counted Richard I among its regulars. Today, it is home to a gastro pub and open bar retaining many of its original features and serving a selection of modern British dishes with a Mediterranean flair.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Royal Saracens Head menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar at The Royal Saracens Head pub showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at the bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.
The Royal Saracens Head in Beaconsfield is just a 3-minute drive from Beaconsfield station.

We enjoyed a family Sunday lunch at the Royal Saracens Head and once again, it didn't disappoint. They were well-staffed for the day and the service was very good and the food excellent. We all had varied Starters and Main Courses off the A La Carte Menu and each of us were delighted with our choices. The pub has a separate restaurant area but while it keeps its historical status, the decor is contemporary and upmarket. Highly recommended

The staff here are always very pleasant and helpful. The roast dinner was excellent and such good value. Had asked for a quiet table and this was provided for us - perfect.

Lovely, lively, restaurant with a real buzz about it. Staff friendly and left us alone to chat. Bit of an issue with some of the seating - the sofas are too low and I had to be propped up with 3 cushions, never really felt comfortable. Food a bit overpriced for what we had, especially my sword fish, which also had too many flavours with it, the sauce was too sweet. Overall we had a nice evening and I would go back.

Food was excellent, service very good, a bit noisy but it was a busy Saturday lunchtime. Choice was very good, friend is vegetarian and there was plenty for her to choose from

It was the Mother's Day menu that was given to us and the starter and main course I ordered had both run out of!!! My daughter ordered a main to be told that was off the menu too. I complained and I was given the a la carte menu so I could choose a different starter but they tried to charge me more for it even though the Mother's Day menu was a set price. They did deduct the cost after I complained again. It was very noisy in the restaurant and had to shout to be heard!! I have been here on many occasions and have found it really good but yesterday was really disappointing especially as it was for Mother's Day.

Everything was excellent from the food, to the service-all excellent. Also good value for money! The only one small issue is that it is so busy it is quite loud......

The food just brilliant every time. The service this visit, drinks and paying was a little slow, we didn't have pudding because I waited for someone to take my order after being given the desert menu and got fed up, then payed on the way out the door, but I will come back its only a little gripe.
