Food good and was served quickly. Upstairs room lacks ambiance. Waiting staff were efficient, but they could engage more with the customer and maybe even smile once in a while. I had the feeling that we were being rushed so that service could finish in good time. Our table was booked for 19.30.

The whole experience was superb. Food excellent.

Always a pleasure to dine at lickfold. The best restaurant outside of ldn in surrey.

Exquisite tasting menu and excellent service. An all round perfect dining experience.

The service was excellent, as was the presentation. The food was lovely, however, although I liked the dry texture of the halibut, my husband was less positive. The portions were good; the dishes well- balanced. We had gone early as our son has been critically ill and we weren’t sure how he’d cope; because we were early there were rather too many very well- meaning waiters hovering. Understandable. We love it there.
