The golden ball has improved over the last year but is still up to the very fine standard of few tears back. The new decor is vast improvement

Hunters chicken and venison were lovely but the steaks were not great!!
Lovely venue , but service rather slow, had to remind about drinks order and water I had asked for again.

Very disappointed - maybe they were too busy because it was Valentines Night and we chose off the special Valentines menu but from the main menu.

Arrived at 13:45 for 14:00 reservation. Table not available until 14:30.
The place was busy, but it appeared that it was 1 or 2 staff light.
Congestion possibly caused by offering Sunday lunch menu together with full menu.
Sunday roasts were well presented - meat was "spot on", roast potatoes perfect, vegetables let down by burnt parsnips.
