With a Guinness World Record for the UK’s longest bar, The Falcon is a traditional pub serving wholesome British classics & a fine range of ales and lagers in a welcoming environment. Bustling with activity, the pub boasts a stunning stained glass window depicting a falcon, and the bar was designed by none other than surrealist artist, MC Escher.
Since Nicholson’s pubs were first established in 1873, these traditional British inns have become synonymous with warm hospitality, hearty pub food and a speciality range of ales. As well as always featuring British pub classics like beer-battered fish & chips and gammon & eggs, the Falcon menu is complemented by a rotating selection of pie, sausage & chop and fish specials for each season.
The Falcon bar is always stocked with exquisite gins, warming whiskies and fine wines to pair with favourite meals, and there’s always a superb range of seasonal and regional real ales on offer. A constant at the bar is the St Austell-brewed Nicholson’s Pale Ale, made with Cornish Maris Otter malts, and a hand-picked blend of English hops.
The Falcon in Clapham Junction is a 5-minute walk from Clapham Junction Rail Station.

The Falcon is great. If only Bookatable was a real booking service, as we were turned away as they do not recognise Bookatable. We had to find somewhere else to eat. A big FAIL from Bookatable.

Loud and lively. Good old fashioned pub grub

Duff food - I had fish & chips, and the batter was soggy, the chips soggy and the mushy peas hard and scary-looking. Avoid.

Nice decor, but we waited almost 45 min for the food. The food doesn't look amazing, but it tastes quite good. At the end I think it is good value for money.
