A good experience
Food was good and plentiful although we were surprised to be charged for extra tea until we complained. Particularly as there was one teabag per pot!!! Service was just about ok but no warm welcome just “I think they set that table for you” pointing rather than showing us to a table. No smiles or pleasant approaches. We were there almost 15 minutes before being approached as to what we wanted. When we asked for Darjeeling there was a shake of head and a look as though we asked for the moon. I then had to ask what tea they had! Poor service we though.
Good afternoon tea at a reasonable (for London) price. Quality of the food was good and service was pleasant. Not the most luxurious experience, but fine for a meeting etc and very close to London bridge station and Guy's hospital.
We were a party of 4 celebrating my daughter's 50th birthdsy. It was a very warm day. We had just visited the Shard and were exhausted. We needed somewhere to test and although one and a half early for our booked tsble, we were made very welcome by staff, with comfortable seats. As my husband and myself are in our mid 70s we did appreciate thid. And the afternoon tea was delicious.
Great location and facilities for an informal business meeting
Environment was very average. Certainly not comfortable or special. Sandwich and scones were very nice. Service was average
Crispy lamb was not too good....better to have it simple and crispy which it was not....soggy and had something else in it. Pigs cheeks were good. Pork croquettes not nice taste. Overpriced for not very good food. Nice setting though.
it was great - service was excellent
