I loved the food, atmosphere and people! Everything was great and service was quick...would definitely come back!
Very good...was very busy but you'd expect it at Xmas. Pre booked the table just in case, took our order they were a very long time with the starters but apologied & gave a free drink on the house !!?? we love frankie's it's nice & simple but the food is very good, & you can see the chef's cooking your meals (like that idea).....all in all lovely & will deffo go back
It was for my sons birthday and they didn't inform the lad who was serving us but fair play we came out with a little ice cream and sang happy birthday thank u very much
I never been in this restaurant before so it was my first visit. And I like it. Very nice inside ,music from 60s ,black and white pictures around makes you fell like you back in that time, very romantic. The staff was extremely friendly and look after us very well. We all was impressed with delicious starter grilled shares. The people next table had a birthday and when the waitress brought a cake the lights come down and music "happy birds" was on so it looked like w all on this party. Was very festive atmosphere.
Went for lunch to celebrate my son's 8th birthday he loved when they brought him his dessert and sang happy birthday
Booking service worked a treat. The table was ready exactly on time. Our starter was amazing, however it was whisked away before we could swallow the last mouthful as our main was delivered. I guess they were cooked at the same time as the starter as the spag bol was cold and the chips tasted stale. A while later I had to remind the waitress our drinks had been forgotten. After the main we looked through and chose our desserts. and waited. and waited. The staff now outnumbered the patrons. Eventually I shouted out that we wanted to order food which caused an argument over the staff who would take our order. 4 puddings ordered 3 arrived. The 4 staying put on the collection counter until the first three had finished. Disgust by this time had ruined an appetite and was wasted.
The overall experience wasn't too bad, the food was good and the atmosphere was nice, but the waitress we had I found rude and unfriendly, my daughter was sat waiting for her pudding and when it arrived it was practically thrown on the table in front of her. I myself have worked in catering and I was trained that no matter how busy you are you always treat the customer with respect and care.
Staff were friendly and welcoming, always available if we needed to add to the order and tried to anticipate our needs.
Dough ball starter was so hard we could hardly eat them and when we complaied they did nothing. Main meal took ages to come as apparently they didnt realise they had run out of spaghetti so had to cook more. All the other meals were overcooked and chips quite hard. This was supposed to be a special meal for my sisters hen do that i had booked and i felt extremely embarrased by the end of the night as it was so awful. They had also run out of rum so not many coctail options to choose from and we chose there so we could have coctails!!! Not impressed at all!!! The older waitress was also very miserable and looked like she didn't want to be there!
Restaurant could haver been warmer, food OK. just OK ... sorry.
