This was our first visit. The hotel is in a peaceful country setting with well tended mature gardens. A warm welcome was followed by pre-lunch drinks and a nice range of canapes. Sunday lunch comprised a choice of around 10 starters and six or seven mains, some of which were traditional but most of which were inventive. We had a pasta starter and a grouse starter followed by a roast beef and a hake main course. All were perfectly cooked and presented together with excellent accompaniments/sauces as appropriate. We could not managed desserts although the choice looked very attractive. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. The service was prompt and pleasant. We look forward to our next visit.
Fantastic service and dining experience.
Lovely food from an exciting menu, friendly and very efficient service. Delightful canapés and petite fours made for a memorable lunch. Looking forward to our return.
Wonderful Food and excellent service. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend.
Excellent service and outstanding food again. Consistently providing high quality is not easy but they do this very well. Will go the extra mile for vegetarians, which can be difficult to find in high end restaurants.
This was our third or fourth meal at Tyddyn Lann over last 8 years. The cooking, presentation and ambience were well up to the previous high standards. The main courses (lamb, turbot, lobster, scallops) were excellent as were the puddings. The pasta starter (tagliatelle and summer truffle) was slightly less successful and the bread was not quite as interesting as the dishes. The mise en bouche as well as the petits fours were excellent too.
Lovely Sunday lunch with great service and surroundings
We had a delightful meal in beautiful surroundings. The food was faultless as would be expected of a Hotel of this standing. Service was friendly and efficient.
