Great food, great service and a great view. Absolutely loved my afternoon tea experience. I will be back.
I took my mum and my sister for afternoon tea as. Special treat for Christmas. We had an average afternoon tea (nothing special considering the price). It was, however, very enjoyable because the waiter was so friendly and attentive. We were sat on low seats at a small coffee table rather than at a dining table.
The live music was most disappointing as it was a primary school choir. I had expected something much more sophisticated and professional.
The emergency alarm sounded whilst we were there and the whole building was evacuated- apart from us because the lifts were not in use and there was no way to get my disabled mother down 23 flights of stairs.
I have written to complain about this and the disappointing music but have not received a satisfactory reply.
This was our 3rd time @ Cloud for Christmas afternoon Tea our server was a young lady who promptly told us she was ill so wouldn't come to close the service overall wasn't as good as we are accustomed to, we decided to have a final cocktail in the bar area and were asked to our surprise "had we had a meal " & "had we paid" we had of course.
Just dissointed this year.
lovely afternoon and really nice food and service, didnt feel rushed. one issue you should be able to give tips on a card because i believe if paying with a card the staff dont get the tip so you have to give cash. not fair imo
Sadly we didn't eat with you but we will be rectifying that very soon - we enjoyed our champagne overlooking the great city of Manchester - we will be back .
We had the traditional afternoon tea, nothing spectacular on the menu to be perfectly honest. The view is fantastic! It’s what we paid for.
We did not order food. Drinks, views and staff service was excellent.
Wonderful experience for my daughter's birthday and she was given a Happy Birthday decorated plate. Service was fantastic.
I was not happy with it
The food and drinks here were lovely however I was not very happy with the service. We arrived at 5 for the booking and still had to wait for a table downstairs for about 15-20 minutes when we were eventually told we could go to our table upstairs we were not greeted by anyone and after a few minutes were taken to our table. We then were not served by anyone at our table for 15 minutes and one of the party who was with us actually had to go and find someone to serve us. I was really unimpressed with this service considering we had paid £25 for afternoon tea at the Hilton which I beleive should have exceptional service. I do not think we would go for afternoon tea there again. I do believe because it was a group of 3 around 20 year olds were treated as less of a priority compared to other people who have paid for the same service.
