The restaurant is perfectly located on the bank of the Thames, with great views overlooking some of the highlights of the South Bank, including the Globe Theatre. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and welcoming, the service was as good as expected and the food quality excellent. I especially liked the whole barbecued mackerel with the potatoes and kale.
Excellent. Our waitress was attentive until after the main course but then dropped off a bit until later - but this is often about giving guests space to digest and chat once the meal is over. Might have been good to have her check in a little sooner but no complaints really, she was great.
We liked having our coats taken at the door, the restaurant was lovely, the food was incredible. We were suitably impressed and loved our evening there.
I booked dinner at northbank. Lovely welcome. Attentive staff. Overall - Food was very nice. Good flavours. Nothing that's going to challenge any palate, mild tones in the food. I took a friend for his birthday , I told the restaurant and they rather charmingly brought a little plate of flapjacks at the end of the meal. I'm not sure I'd pay full price.
Lovely table in the window. Nice vibe. Food most enjoyable and service excellent. 5O% off a la carte very good value.
The view is great here. The food was just OK. I had the 1kg steak which was very disappointing, lots of sinew on the meat. The butter mash potato was poor, not buttery is the slightest and very bland. Charred stem broccoli was nice. Pepper sauce was average but the jug was very small. All in disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food and drink. Service was excellent
We've been here a few times. Lovely atmosphere, great food and an iconic view.
Excellent food; good location and attentive service
Small menu, small portions
Would love to see cooked scallops back on the menu!
