Nathan Outlaw is a Cornwall-based chef who has gradually become a familiar personality across the UK, renowned for his focus on the simple delights of British seafood cookery. He now runs his 2-Michelin Starred flagship 'Restaurant Nathan Outlaw' in Port Isaac, Cornwall, alongside 2 other restaurants and one pub.
Restaurant Nathan Outlaw offers one seafood tasting menu, prepared and cooked by Nathan's small team of chefs, led by Head Chef Chris Simpson. At lunchtime, the team also offer a 4-course menu. The menus highlight the finest sustainable seafood caught off the Cornish coast by small day boats. It's the hypnotising views across the wild Atlantic coupled with the respect given to every tail and scale that provide a truly memorable dining experience.

The menu was very good we were a party of three we had one full menu, one with no shell fish and one vegetarian menu.
The restaurant had organised the menus to compliment each other.
You could not ask for more.
The food was mind blowing including the Brussel sprouts which was a pleasant surprise to find on the menu.
Service as usual faultless

8 of us spent a lovely evening at the restaurant but left thinking something was lacking . Within the ambience maybe . Also felt the charming local girl describing the wines was a little out of her depth .

We sat at the Kitchen Bar which was a great position to see what was going on. The Tasting Menu was absolutely delicious and exquisitely prepared. We decided not to have the paired wines but the wines recommended by Kelly, were superb and accompanied all the courses perfectly. Nathan Outlaw came out to talk to us after the meal which was a real treat. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend a visit here.

Fabulous fish dishes. Our favourites were
The raw scallop, sea trout, and the Turbot and shell fish sauce. But all dishes were beautifully presented and the flavours were perfectly balanced and
delicate. Like all degustation meals we have had prior to this one the cost is always on the high side but the experience and attention to detail is worth it. Enjoy.

A fantastic dining experience to celebrate retirement. The food was amazing - fabulous flavours, simply but expertly presented, and a good mix of different dishes. The standout plates for me were the raw scallops with citrus, the salt cod with lobster scampi, and the strawberry and elderflower tart. The staff are very welcoming, the restaurant setting fantastic on the cliff top. The table settings are unfussy, meaning that nothing distracts you from the food and wine. The staff are very knowledgable, and very happy to answer any questions as you enjoy your meal. The service is exemplary with each dish being described to you as it is brought to the table. Granted, this restaurant is not cheap, but you know this before booking. We were lucky that Nathan himself was in the kitchen the evening we went. He was very happy to sign one of his books, and to chat and have a photo taken with us at the end of the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the restaurant.
