Prezzo - St Neots

The new menu is superb. Our visit was to the expected standard. Our Server was most efficient, and the food was great.

Service was very slow. They didn’t seem to have control and different waiters kept coming to ask if we had our mains. Food was adequate but not great. Also very slow in between each course.

Excellent food, but very slow service. The staff were doing their best the lack of them meant they were run off their feet.

Decent food.

Everything else dreadful. Staff sitting round eating, whilst tables need cleaning. Food on the floor. Dust on shelves, cobwebs around lights. Had to chase for drinks, had to chase for the bill. No attempt to see if we are ok, or want more drinks.
There were a total of 12 customers in, 2 waiting staff and 3 kitchen.

No exactly busy.

This used to be a busy place even on a Bank Holiday Monday at 8pm- it was dead an soulless. Avoid!

Although the Spring Offer was available, and asked for on the booking form, we had to ask for it. Orange juice wasn't included in the soft drink offer, which was very strange. As it's the only soft drink my wife likes she had to have a glass of wine - encouraging drinking of alcohol over a soft drink seems very unusual. A friend had a problem with her broccoli as it was very stringy. Apart from this, everyone else enjoyed their meal.

Super food...we had the meats sharing plattee, the most delicious italian hummus and some calamari... Lovely venue

So happy Montepulciano D'Abruzzo is back on the wine list! Favourite dishes - king prawns to start, carne picante calzone and wild mushroom risotto for mains.

I booked a table for 10/12 people for our work outing. We arrived on time and waited at the front door - after about 5 minutes someone finally came to check us in. We were then shown to our table which was not set up even though we had booked well in advance. The waiter then shuffled some new cutlery in front of us and gave us some menu sheets. Ten minutes later we still hadn't been asked if we wanted any drinks never mind asking if we were ready to order. I then went up to the bar and asked the waitress if someone could come and take a drinks order. At least another 5-10 minutes went by and still no one had come to take our order so we decided to get up and go somewhere else. I went up to the waitress and told her of our intention and she just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. None of us have ever been to a restaurant and experienced such atrocious service - for some of our party it was their first (and probably last) visit to Prezzo. I do not normally moan about things but think the 'management' of this this restaurant do need to be aware of the problems

Food not bad but restaurant bit grubby with tables of used plates left for our entire meal , clearly understaffed
