This restaurant was such a different dining experience for us. It is situated in the oldest house in Port Isaac, Cornwall, with the most envious location facing the beach and harbour. The decor is neat /eclectic seaside and is quite cosy in it's layout. We were surprised to see that the food was all served on saucer sized plates which we hadn't expected. However, the tasty morsels were delicious. We were a party of four and we ordered four dishes per couple with potato's and bread. For lunch this was perfect and we savoured the food rather than just ate it. On average the prices were approximately £11 per dish which is usual for a restaurant of this calibre.We loved the cured Brill, Crispy Ling, Sole, and Smoked Mackerel dishes but quite frankly, we wish we had ordered the £50 per head taster menu as we know we would have enjoyed it all.We would certainly go back to this restaurant for a special treat. Last but not least, the service was excellent, not too pretentious but quite attentive.

We had a great meal at Outlaw's Fish Kitchen. The food was amazing and the service was great. We had the fish kitchen to share and particularly liked the breaded turbot with Jalapeño mayonnaise. We will be back when next in the area. Thank you.

For a special, one-off occasion Outlaws was absolutely the place to go. I have heard wonderful things about it from two people who have been and they were not not wrong. From the beginning, Stephi was incredibly helpful with our booking and requests and a wonderful host on the night. A very, warm and friendly lady who clearly has the place running like clockwork. The food was fantastic - my favourite was the Bass in the spider crab sauce (although it was all good and the first time I've ever enjoyed lobster). We went with the wine flight too and were interested to hear about the wines and see how they paired with the food - all lovely. All the service was top notch and the food was special and beautifully presented without being overly fussy. I couldn't fault anything with any of the food served to us - beautifully cooked and served. Very expensive but absolutely worth it. We were surprised to see Nathan there working in the kitchen and even bringing food up to the restaurant - it is really great to see the chef actually there in their restaurant and 'mucking in', as often well known chefs might only design a menu but are not actually be present. It was nice to meet Nathan too and the signed menu for my husband's birthday was a really nice touch - thankyou.

The restaurant is in a great location, comfortable and bijou. The staff are efficient with personality. The food is pretty fine, good ingredients, fresh and cooked by a chef who clearly knows his craft, so generally speaking there is a lot to like about dining here....however the small plates really are tiny and have shrunk since our last visit and in all honesty charging nearly £35 for 2 thirds of a bottle of ordinary rose leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Upon leaving you can't help but feel that the establishment is laughing at you, I understand that this is the second restaurant of a well known chef and value for money is subjective but ingredients alone including wine would cost no more than £20 and the bill was £90, overall I'm sorry to say this is a rather cynical way of making money.

Five delicious fish dishes. Loved the cerviche of bream. Also very special and unexpected to have a delicious turbot dish (not listed).
We come regularly, and it was as excellent and enjoyable as ever.
