Overall a nice meal

Food and service first class

A very enjoyable Sunday lunch with friends. We met in the bar where you can order cocktails if you want. All staff were polite and friendly.

We ordered from the set Sunday lunch menu. I had slow roast beef, my husband the vegetarian option and my friends had the seabass. Good sized portions and we enjoyed it all. We had to order extra vegetables though as there weren't enough for our tastes. Lemon tart dessert wasn't outstanding and was a bit too big for me,I would probably order coffee and mini dessert next time.

The restaurant is large but there is plenty of car parking space and although it was quite busy it was easy to talk and hear each, unlike so many places where you have to shout to be heard.

We had a wait of 20 minutes for a table and the same before our order was taken also quite a wait for the food which was very good when it arrived.

The delay in getting food to eat was annoying - some 50 minutes. The food was undercooked possibly due to being done in a rush.

The service was great, didn't have to wait long for anything. Our waiter was superb, had great charm.
The food was fantastic, from start to finish.
Worth every penny!!
