Good menu selection but the dishes we ordered weren't cooked the best.

5 of us came for lunch. Food was beautiful, we all ordered different items and all thoroughly enjoyed them. Service was fast and friendly.

Lovely restaurant in a pretty and historic location. We were welcomed warmly and served in good time. Delicious, warm, home made Italian breads and good olives arrived with the drinks, followed by the gorgeous pasta dishes we ordered. Every single mouthful was utterly delicious. This restaurant deserves to be fully booked every day with a queue of hopeful diners around the Square. Just go!

Dishes:
I had lamb shank, the bone fell right out, the meat melted in your mouth, truly the best example I've had.
Calamari was tasty and crispy, the chilli mayo style dip with the calamari was a welcome addition.

Friends enjoyed their veil, salmon and pasta (vegetarian) mains.

Dined with friends. Food was excellent. Steak was very good.

Drinks were too expensive and would make me consider whether to dine here again.

Atmosphere was good and easy parking nearby.

Excellent food good service will visit again

Returned to a favourite place for a family birthday meet-up on a warm evening, quiet for a Bank Holiday Monday and very relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and portion size just right. We women particularly enjoyed the 3 vegetarian (incl vegan) dishes we chose and the sweets were a treat.
