outstanding in every respect

Food was delicious- lovely unassuming restaurant and a very nice vibe.

Food was very good, though a very poor choice for vegetarian options. Service was not friendly or relaxed which rather marred the experience. Our table was next to the service entrance which meant waiting staff going backwards and forward throughout - there was another table for two but we were not allowed to move to it as it was being kept for regulars. Won’t be returning.

Clarke’s was a delightful experience. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, we were an hour later than our original reservation time, but we kept them informed and they accommodated us without any issue. The food was uniformly wonderful. We both had a fish dish and the fish was cooked perfectly. And the atmosphere in the restaurant is intimate and cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We have eaten at the restaurant before and the food is excellent and the service is always impeccable. Always a great experience.

Loved it. The scale, the service, the ability to have “dinner conversation”. The special plate was perfect - food that is perf Evtly cooked and presented and TASTES really good. Felt like a special place.
