I booked the table as it was my 60th birthday and wanted to share it with my family. However the whole experience was a total let down . We weren’t received well the tea was cold and the sandwiches dry . We had to ask more than once for hot water and also had to request cutlery has there wasn’t any on the table . I felt that I hadn’t really given my family a treat at all. Very disappointed.

I have had better not much choice for money paid

My friend and I had a lovely afternoon. Staff really friendly. Lovely surroundings. Very pleasant and relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea.

Wonderful, Staff were first class, very attentive, food was perfect, as I have an allergy they made sure every thing was suited for the allergy. Would definitely go again.

The afternoon tea was beautiful, very good quality and plenty of food for your money. Only thing was there wasn't enough tea and the sandwiches were a little minimal on the fillings. Also the bread was a bit stale. Other than that it a was fabulous experience and great quality service all round. Would definitely recommend it.

My family and myself had a lovely afternoon tea here, the food was lovely, presented nicely and was able to take the leftovers home. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely experience.

Flavourless & doughy scones that 4 of us could not eat. One minuscule pot of milk brought for 4 pots of tea. We had to ask for a pot of hot water & more milk & tea when we ran out

Very poor afternoon tea, waitress never asked us whether we wanted the veggie option, it just arrived. You couldn't call them sandwhiches as two were on small crostini crackers and the two sandwiches were bite size at 3cm x 3cm- not enough to fill a child. Scones were dry, hard and flavourless, mine were supposed to be white chocolate and banana- flavour less- all scones sent back! We only went as we saw it on offer for £13.50 instead of £18. It was only worth about £5!!!! I have read a post on social media today, someone else went for the same afternoon tea and they sent their scones back for the same reason!!!! Obviously no improvements are being made and substandard food is being sent out. Definitely wouldn't reccomend or go back!!!!!
