Very overpriced for the dishes offered. We have eaten here before and enjoyed it but not yesterday. As a niggle, we ordered a portion of potatoes; they did not arrive with the main courses and when reminded, there was a " sorry sir, we will get them immediately". The arrived a fair way into the meal, so we sent them back!

Had a lovely night in the Brasserie before the show we booked. The food, all 3 courses were excellent and atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. All the staff were very pleasant.

The white bean soup was delicious and the turkey dinner was really tasty. Service was excellent.

Good first and second course but the dessert was a total disaster! I do not eat sweet things and asked if a little cheese board could be made up. I was told the restaurant had no cheese of any description. NO CHEESE! For god's sake what sort of a restaurant do you run? OK I settled for a coffee, only to be told there was no cream, only skimmed milk If you like to eater your coffee even more, that's fine, but I don't. Do you have something against dairy products? It was not a happy experience and in future i'll eat over the river before attending concerts in the Sage.
BTW I doubt you will pay any attention to this but I needed to get it off my chest.

We use your Brasserie often as we are fairly regular visitors to music performances - travelling a long way (from Yorkshire) often with quite elderly grandparents so the convenience of dining on site is especially valuable. On this occasion however (Dec 10th) the restaurant staff were simply far too busy to cope with the number of diners so we had to wait far too long for food to arrive and between courses, the waitresses were clearly under too much pressure to deliver food to us in time for the performance at 7.00 pm and we only had 10 minutes to quickly eat the main course and dash up to the venue and only achieved this by deferring the desert to the interval. All in all our night out was far too rushed and not an enjoyable experience - it spoilt the evening being honest. You either need to have more chefs on duty or reduce the number of table bookings taken on the busier times of year such as xmas. We are already booked (in advance) again for a special occasion performance / dinner in Dec 2017 but may decide not to use the Brasserie anymore for any further visits we decide to make next year based on our latest experience. Sorry to sound so negative............

We were served very quickly (I've been in the past and had my pre-dinner drink served to me half way through my starter!!). The food was excellent, as always. We asked for more gravy - for five of us - and it was brought in a tiny milk jug! We had to ask for more and were brought another tiny milk jug. I think you should invest in some proper gravy boats! I would recommend the restaurant, but only to people who are visiting The Sage. I wouldn't use the restaurant otherwise. For a pre-theatre meal it is excellent.

We were made to feel very welcome especially by our waiter. He was charming and shared a bit of humour with us which made us feel he really cared if we enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent as the clean plates testified. The price was also very reasonable.
