Come up and melt away the afternoon in the new Parlour Restaurant, now open on the first floor of Fortnum & Mason. Here, you will find exceptional ice cream, extraordinary hot chocolate and your very favourite cakes. Treats include ice cream and sorbet flights, three cones filled with three ices. You can also have the classic Knickerbocker Glory - vanilla bean, strawberry and cream ice creams with raspberries, chunks of pineapple, raspberry coulis and topped with whipped cream and candy sugar. Don't forget to try the Esterhazy Cake. Named after a Hungarian nobleman and now one of Austria's most famous cakes, it is made up of layers of hazelnut sponge filled with white butter cream and topped with sugar icing.
