Championing beautifully simple yet refined cuisine, Divo Putney is a colourful, independently-run Italian restaurant. Pizzas are hand-spun in front of diners by resident pizza expert Marco Fuso, who competes in the annual Pizza World Cup competition in Italy.
Handmade pastas on the Divo Putney menu include the refined black ink cuttlefish tagliolini with vegetable brunoise and king prawns, and a beautifully inventive duck and pistachio casoncelli with butter and sage sauce. Mains are sophisticated; the sliced sirloin steak is served with aubergine timbale and balsamic jus, while pizzas are elegantly simple, like the eponymous ‘Divo V’ which is topped with beautifully fresh cherry tomatoes, soft stracciatella cheese, parmesan and rocket.
Rustic yet modern, sparkling bronze lights in the Divo Putney restaurant hang above vintage wooden floorboards and exposed brick walls. Splashes of bright colour in the abstract Italian art and decor make Divo a vibrant setting to dine in.
