I would say it is a lovely venue for lunch time but not enough choice to compete with other venues in the evening.

Went for Sunday lunch. Food was lovely. Our friends are both chefs and loved the food commenting on its freshness. The menu is simple and mainly fish. Deserts are qwerky and tasty. Drinks are expensive. A few disappointments: Friend thought the quantity of mussels was on the small side, they didn't have and fruit for the Pimms, and they don't have the nice FeverTree tonic (as per the menu) just cheap Schweppes. Overall we enjoyed the experience, waiting staff and the manager were very friendly, and we WILL go back again...already recommended it to friends.

Great food, rather expensive for a cafe ambience but service excellent and a good atmosphere

A busy Bank Holiday lunch time was not the ideal time to sample the great food but we will certainly return out of peak season.

Lovely views from window onto Chesil Beach. We ate in the evening and were impressed by the quality and flavour of the food. Pasta with fish was excellent however fish soup could have been hotter. I do not know why I didn't ask them to heat it up for me. Will come back at lunchtime as light starters look very interesting.
