Recipient of a Michelin star, 4 AA Rosettes, and a top 15 spot in the UK's 100 Best Restaurants, Alyn Williams presents contemporary fine dining at his eponymously named restaurant at the 5-star Westbury Hotel in Mayfair. After 8 years working under Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, Alyn Williams' restaurant has emerged as one of the most luxurious places to eat in London.
The Alyn Williams menu is carefully crafted using the finest ingredients from local suppliers. A 7-course tasting menu features inventions like the foie gras with prune, celeriac, bacon and espresso, and langoustine with lemongrass, chilli and cucumber. Myriad cooking techniques are called upon for the a la carte menu, which includes succulent barbecued monkfish, griddled Scottish lobster and iced coconut parfait with lime and peanuts.
Gold-ringed napkins and luxurious suede dining chairs characterise the interior at the Alyn Williams restaurant, where wines are cherry-picked from the finest producers in France and the New World. Separate vegetarian menus allow diners to experience innovative combinations in dishes like the smoked egg, leek and truffle.
Alyn Williams at The Westbury Hotel is open Tuesday through Saturday. On Conduit Street in London, The Westbury is a 6-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

Wonderful meal with friendly, attentive service. Very impressive cheese selection. We dined on a special 3-course lunch offer with matching wines which was great value. That being said we more than doubled the bill by adding a champagne aperitif, sharing a cheese board and having a glass of port to accompany the cheese! Indicative that sraff are very accomplished up sellers. Thankfully not a problem for us and I would definitely recommend.

What a truly exceptional evening...a menu designed around our tastes when we arrived. 5 courses of pure indulgence. Private dining room was excellent along with the service! Even got to meet the man himself and a true gentlemen! What a treat!

Great lunch and we enjoyed the menu! Note we booked the £50 offer with pairing wines and did not realise this would be a surprise menu, which means the three courses are designed that day and so you are not sure what you will get. They do ask before if you have any dislikes/allergies etc., be very clear so you don't get a dish with a taste you don't like. We were fine as we don't really have dislikes only me and mustard. Our three courses were a Beetroot and Pepper starter with goats cheese, Poached Sea Bass main and a chocolate mouse for dessert, so perfect for lunch. you also get canopies, coffee and petit fours. The wine pairing was also great, you do have a dessert wine which I do think is an acquired taste so would prefer not to have this and alternative. We also did add a cheese course but only a small one between us which was perfect. The restaurant is very welcoming and overall the service was excellent, never over bearing, spot on. You are also never rushed which is what we like, two and half hours for our full lunch which felt right to us. We also had a some fun choosing the cheese with the waiter, so if you not sure what to order don't be afraid to ask as he was so helpful. Would return here again as the food was great and the service was excellent.

Lovely location and fantastic service.
The canapes and bread were exceptional however after that the food rapidly went down hill for this quality of restaurant.
The start whilst nice was nothing special and for some reason it was served on 'half' of the plate leaving you thinking something else was meant to go on the other half.....but nothing.
The duck in my opinion was overly fatty (not properly rendered) and a bit chewy. There was very little if nothing of note to accompany it with the vegetables looking very much like the starter.
The desert was more for summer than autumn I would say. It was 'OK' but again I would have expected more from this standard of restaurant. I have had better for lower prices.
Sadly will not be returning.

We had a wonderful lunch at Alyn Williams at the Westbury, the food was exceptional and the service friendly and relaxed but efficient. It was a special occasion and this was recognised with a special dessert for the birthday girl. There was a long gap between courses but we were not in any rush. A special experience for a special event.
